The next meeting of the Board of Directors: TBD early 2026
The Bar-K Association Community Garden is a wonderful way for neighbors to share best practices for high-altitude gardening. Not only does it increase our resiliency, but it's a great way to get to know our community better. New to gardening? No problem. Come give it a try!
Plots are available for Bar-K Association members on a first come, first served basis. Each member has access to a 12'x12' plot for personal use, included in your membership.
If you wish to reserve and use a plot, contact Brooke Cholvin, Chairperson of the Garden Committee.
Users of the plots must follow the Garden Guidelines defined by the committee so that all members have access and so that all yearly maintenance can be performed. Committee membership is automatic if you have a plot.
The Bar-K Association Community Garden is located below Penny Pond. Please see: Parcel Map. Access to the garden is via the steep stairs east of the lake OR by Ski Road (4x4 accessible). To locate Ski Road, go south on Ridge Road and veer left on Crockett Trail, where you will see a green cattle gate on your left with a Bar-K Association No Trespassing sign. Members may go through the gate, follow the road down, and turn left toward the garden at the bottom.
