Access to the Bar-K Ranch’s Common Lands is an exclusive benefit reserved for members of the Bar-K Association. Membership is required to utilize these shared spaces. To be eligible for membership, you must own or rent property within the Bar-K Ranch subdivision, or hold adjacent property that is accessed through the subdivision. Please see the available Types of Memberships below.
To make a request to become a Member of the Bar-K Association, please Contact Us. Membership is from September 1st to August 31st. Any payments in your 1st year will be pro-rated based on the month joined and the dues payment cycle. After your 1st year, membership dues will be collected on September 1st at the set annual rate.
Membership is currently set at $120 / yr. Annual dues are collected on or before September 1st of each year.

Membership - The Association membership is for property owners within the Bar-K subdivision.This membership gives the right of access to all Common lands and Lakes, the right to vote on any changes to bylaws, to elect the Board of Directors, set annual dues, and graze permissible livestock on common land as well as the use of the stable area. Each membership is entitled to one vote, regardless of the number of lots owned.
Licenses to Rental Property Tenants - Tenants who rent housing in the Ranch may be granted a License from the Association whether or not the Owner of the property is a current Member. Upon application to the Board and payment, a tenant may become a Licensee of the Association for the current fiscal year. These Licensees shall be entitled to use of Association property in a manner similar to that of Members, but may not be elected to the Board of Directors, shall have no voting rights in the Association and shall not be allowed to graze or stable animals on the Common Lands. Licenses to Adjacent Property Owners - Special Licenses may be granted to people owning land adjacent to the Ranch, whose only access to their property is via the roads through the Ranch which are maintained by Boulder County. This grant of License by the Board will be subject to the terms and conditions of the License Agreement (see Exhibit B) and may be revoked by the Association at any time with or without cause. These Licensees shall be entitled to use of Association property in a manner similar to that of Members, but may not be elected to the Board of Directors, shall have no voting rights in the Association and shall not be allowed to graze or stable animals on the Common Lands.
