Presidents Letter
Dear Members,
After a very productive Summer it is time for the Board of Directors to take a short break from the Regular meetings while the snow flies. During the Winter break the business of the Association will continue and we will be open to suggestions and the information that you can provide. You can contact us anytime on the Bar-K Association website. Go to the heading- Contact us- then send your email. I am also available by phone- “I am Retired.” Keep in mind, the website is always monitored and your email will be received.
We had a great turn out for both Ice Cream Socials and near a record number of people at the picnic.
The new shed to store all the equipment the Association owns, at the Stable area, has been completed. The Stable barn has been treated with a new coat of sealer. We are already making preparations to replace one of the larger picnic table tops next year. There will be many other projects next Summer and we will be asking for your help.
Just as a reminder, we are in the process of making fishing more exciting at Rock Lake. Because of the catch and release policy, someday in a couple of years, we will have trout weighing over 10 pounds. Try reeling in one of them. It was a reality a few years back for those who remember.
The newly appointed Website Communications Committee will be working all through the period when the Regular meetings of the Board are on hold. Their objective is to provide you with an informative and easier path to information when you browse the website.
Respectfully,
Jack Kutscher
