Bar-K Association Community Garden Guidelines 2025
Any current member of the Bar-K Association may participate in the community garden by
notifying a Board Member of intent to garden by May 15th of each year.
Each membership will have an equal designated area to plant and maintain. Any group of gardeners that may have cost sharing or work requirement agreements can combine designated areas to plant.
Gardening plot size will be determined by the number of gardeners each growing season, with the entire garden area available for planting.
If an assigned garden plot is left unplanted or unattended past June10th, the BOD's Assigned representative will make every attempt to contact that individual to see if they are planning to plant their plot. If there is no response within 3 days the plot will be reassigned.
No permanent structures will be installed without prior approval from the Board of Directors.
Organic gardening standards only.
All guests on the Bar-K Association Community Garden area must be accompanied by a Gardener at all times.
Any issues will first be brought to the attention of the Garden Representative of the BOD to be resolved. The BOD will have the final decision if needed.
